I hope this isn't true but I could imagine him tiring of a role he's had for 12 years.

I can't even imagine watching it without Brisco (Orbach) at this point.

Green is the weakest detective ever on the show.
Serena is the weakest ADA ever.
Arthur Branch is no Adam Schiff (though an upgrade from Nora).

What's left but McCoy?

Not enough for me to watch.

Damn that's cold ya'll called Jessie Martin a weak detective LOL. I think he's good on the show. Serena isn't that bad either.

I saw the handwriting on the wall! If you look at him when he first started and look at him now you can see he's getting too old to be on the streets. I like him, sad to see him go, made the best wisecracks, time to move on! I heard that there was gonna be a fouth installment, Law & Order:Trial by Jury and Lennie was supposed to be on that show.

I'm not calling Jessie Martin a weak actor, it's that his character is my least favorite of all the detectives:

Mike Logan
Max Greevey
Phil Ceretta
Lennie Brisco
Reynaldo Curtis
Ed Green

Brisco and Curtis or Brisco and Logan were the best teams.
