Default Favorite fight scene Fred vs...

What is your favorite fight Fred ever got into with anybody?
All of the fights with him and Esther are great, but my favorite is the one between him and Grady in "This little tv went to market".

The first one with Julio is pretty choice:

Julio: You are a "sangano."
Fred: What!?
Julio: You heard me - you are a big dummy!
Fred: Who you callin' a dummy, you big dummy?
Where I come from, them are fightin' words!

Default Fred vs. Grady

Yes definitely!! The fight Fred and Grady had over the stolen TV was hilarious. I loved when Lamont tried to hold Fred back and he was trying to fight thru with one hand. Boy, Fred must have been really mad!!

I loved it then they would stop the argument and tell someone "not to get involved in family arguments"

yeah, because you can get hurt bad gettin involved in family arguments

I recall them doing it at least three times, once with Grady, Judy, and Smitty and Hoppy. Anybody recall another?

Default Yeah, that's funny . . .

. . . I think they did that to Melvin or at least what I'm thinking of is when Melvin keeps "agreeing/repeating" everything Fred says and then Lamont says something contrary to that and Melvin agrees with Lamont and then Fred says something contrary and Melvin agrees with that, etc., etc., etc. LOL! And then both Fred and Lamont say "Shut up, Melvin!!!" I love that! Now, that's funny!!! LOL!

Signed,
Respectfully,
Dutch

I know it is not politically correct to say this; but i thought Fred's jokes about Ah-Chew's nationality was pretty darn funny. Ex: Yellow Jondos, Pearl Harbor, Ping Pong. It was nice to see that they got along so well when they opened the Japenese restaurant together. "Sanford and Rising Son"!!

I love it when Lamont tries to come in and stop Fred from fighting. He always says, "WOULD you STOP THAT?!!! Just STOP it!!!" It's like there was no other lines for him to say, but for some reason it was really funny to me. He said it in a lot of other episodes, too. Especially when Fred was saying something ridiculous or insulting.
"Just STOP it. Would you . . . would you STOP THAT?!!!"
Very funny imo.

I loved the Fred had with Esther in the "Suprise Party" when Fred gives her clear piece of plastic to put over her face and says that is her holloween mask. It was so funny as they were coming to blows, Fred stops the action and the entire room freezes: then Fred snaps Esther's party hat and the fight really gets going.

I liked that party scene fight, too. There was also the big money Grip episode where it appeared that Fred and Esther were going to jump Grip.

I liked the episode where Fred and Donna were going to have dinner together and then Lamont brought his date to spite Donna and she was going to smoke at the table and Donna told her not to and then Fred and Lamont fought in the kitchen and then Donna and Lamont's date fought about smoking at the table and then everyone fought and then it was Fred and Lamont together fighting again when they left and were about to eat.

This fight scene has always been my favorite. No matter how many times i watch it i roll with laughter when Fred snaps her party hat.
