Default Season 2 DVD: Where are the extras???

Hello,

Just got the DVD set of Season 2 of Will & Grace today and I'm a little confused. To my knowledge, we were supposed to get outtakes from Seasons 1 & 2, plus commentaries from the show's producers. None of that seems to be here. The only thing included are featurettes (which get on my nerves if I try to sit through them in one sitting) and sub-titles. Am I missing something?

Does anyone know where the other features are? Perhaps the present feud between NBC & the producers halted some of the extras. Does anyone know???

I got the season 2 dvd check disc samples a few months ago, and there were no extras on them other then the featurettes. The featurettes on my samples were the same as the ones on the season 1 dvd set according to the tvshowsondvd.com review.

I know amazon.com lists multiple bonus features, so either they have the information wrong or there was a last minute change.

This stinks then. I was looking forward to the outtakes. I love stuff like that. BTW, the features are also listed at www.tvshowsondvd.com

Guess it was pulled at the last minute...

Default How dissapointing

How dissapointing!!!!!

The set was previewed as -

"Special features will include Featurettes, Outtakes from the first two seasons, Commentary tracks by the show creators
and much more!"

I checked every disk and couldn't find any outtakes or commentaries. Talk about a let down!!!

Those featurettes are pretty dumb. Not very interesting extras.

********SIGH**************

Oh well, at least we have the uncut episodes.

That sucks you guys should write letters and tell them that there was false advertising I think ET mentioned the DVD with bloopers too. If they get enough letters maybe they will pull them off the shelves and make new ones. I'm glad I didn't buy mine yet.

Just wondering but is it still worth the 30 dollars for the DVD with or without extras?

Of course it is. I mean, the main reason for any DVD set of a TV show is the show's episodes, and that is presented with flying colors. But when you're told about 3 months ahead of time that certain extras are to be included, including outtakes (which I just love!!!), it's a bit of a letdown when they're not included with nary an explanation. So yeah, buy the set. The eps alone are worth it, but I am disappointed about the extras. It's almost like we were lied to...

Guys, the DVD for seasons 1 and 2 have extra footage over here in Scotland. I have the video (VHS) which doesn't contain extras but my mate has... I have season 3 and 2 discs of season 4 which have extras...
