I don't know how many of you are either aware of or interested in those old Palmolive TV commercials featuring "Madge," but recent news out of Connecticut indicates the actress who played her(Jan Miner) died about a month ago at 86.

Too sad. Another childhood icon is gone. Her famous line was "You're soaking in it."

I heard about this the other day. That commercial ran forever!

I didn't realize that she was that old!

RIP Jan!

Here she is in 1955 when she was a stage actress.
