Roseanne admits to having plastic surgery and I personally liked her when she started to leave the diner. I found she had gotten prettier towards the end of the show. I didn't like her look in the 80's but then again it was the eighties.lol.

She was attrocious in the first season. Then she was better in season 2, then kind of got worse in season 3 because I think she was her heaviest in season 3. Then by season 4 she lost a lot of weight, then when she had long hair in season 5, she looked semi-human, then she kind of maintained the same look for the rest of the time. But I think it's really odd that she looks better now then she did in season 1 of Roseanne. Are we really supposed to believe that Roseanne Connor got any plastic surgery?

Ah whatever, I like the Roseanne character, but I think the real Roseanne is a psychotic, egocentric bitch.

All I have to say is that the deep tan with the obviously-dyed-black hair she had in the sixth season was not a good look. Clashed too much with all the other cast members.

I noticed that she looked simply atrocious in the beginning and got better as time went on. It is clearly visible in the season 8 morph, when you see her first 3 faces, and then you see her morph into her current self. She definetely looked best in season 9. Season 1 she looked OK, season 2 wasn't that much different, she was definetely very heavy in season 3.

Yeah, and that red curly hair in season 3 didn't do much for all that weight!

Talking Roseanne's Looks

I have to say the big R looked her best in the 9th season! I really have come to enjoy that season I think because I understand what she was trying to do although I would have defineitly written the episodes differently!!!

Isn't that why everybody loves her?

In season 5, Roseanne's eyes looked closed, but in season 6 they opened up can anyone explain this?

Maybe some sort of eye surgery? That is all I can think of. I think she looked fabulous at this year's TV Land awards too. I was completely shocked because I haven't seen her in a very long time before that.

She had her eyelids done. She comments on it in one of the bonus features on the DVDs.

Roseanne piqued (to me) in season six. I loved her look. Season five, she had her hair long again. Then in season six, she was looking kinda good to me. She almost looked slightly asian to me from time to time. LOL. Seasons six and nine were her best in appearance to me. Seasons seven and eight in 2nd.

I think that Roseanne looked good to me through season 1-6 (the first half anyway, towards the end of season 6 she looked like she was wearing a wig) and I liked how she looked in season 9 as well
