Question/comments on the actors & their characters - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Were the actors (specifically Danny, Jesse, and Joey) like their characters? For instance, does Bob Saget really like to clean as much as Danny does? Did Dave Coulier really come from a family where his dad was never around (like Joey)? Is John Stamos really greek like Jesse? You know, that kind of stuff. It's just something I've always wondered about!

To add to what I said, Dave Coulier also "Has a great passion for playing hockey" according to IMDB, and he does have a lot of hockey clothing and stuff in his room on the show.

I have little facts about them. Dave was a real comedian.When he was younger, he even had a carrieer as hockeyplayer like Joey. John Stamos is really from Greece. That was the mainpoint with Jesses namechange in the second season. John wanted to show his greek blood in his character. His name is Stamos but he was born with a longer, greek name. After his family moved to USA, they changed to Stamos. I don´t know something about Danny/Bob. Dave know the Bure brothers and introduced Valeri and Candace for each other.
