Default Tell me if you lost interest in TCS when the Grandparents walked through the door?

Grandparents were on the show TOO MUCH. They SLOWED the FLOW of the show down.

Yeah, I didn't like the grandparents much. Especially when Russel and Heathcliff were playing cards with his old "war buddies." BOOO-RING!

I remember being a kid and was so disgusted watching the episode when Cliff is playing Poker with his DAd

true mayne, I turn the channel on any episode when Ciff's parents seemed like they were going to be on the show for more than 4 minutes...also, anyone where Cliff goes back to his old school and talks for like 10 minutes, I'm switching the channel...

Absolutely... I hated the grandparents on that show... from both sides of the family...

I can't stand their reminiscing about the old days...they all marched with Martin Luther King...yeah, my a** they did...them and Joe Lieberman...

And they all think that "Hillman" is the greatest college in the history of the world...spare me...

And, oooo, wasn't that a suspenseful build up to Denise's announcement at the dining room table, about which college she "decided" on? Was there ever any doubt? If she didn't go to "Hillman", you think her parents would have paid her way?

And of course, everytime some old college professor retires, they all get together and throw a retirement part for the departing professor... "wow, our old professor from 50 years ago is retiring, let's get the ol' gang together and celebrate".... yeah, THAT's normal...

I hated the Huxtable grandparents (as well as Claire's parents too)...

And I also hated that the grandparents were "friends" with all of these washed up jazz musicians... and they dressed the kids, including Rudy, up and had them slink down the stairs, just the way the whores used to do it in New Orleans whorehouses... great family entertainment ...
