I doubt you read much wrestling news or saw the trainwreck that WAS the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg match. Lesnar left from the NFL, and after the heck on Earth he received from the fans (Actually screaming WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE WANT FROM ME?!?! at one point) I doubt he'd come back regardless.

He's only trying out for the NFL. He's just putting his WWE career on hold.

Brock was sick and tired of the travelling. He even bought his own plane to ease some of the schedule, but that didn't work. If the WWE was sure Brock was coming back pretty soon, I'm sure he would've won his match with Goldberg(who also isn't coming back) I'm not saying he'll never return, but I think it'll be awhile.
