Awhile back i heard that there were talks about putting together a series for the movie,was there any truth to this?Was a tv show ever aired?

No, it never aired. I know that a singer/actress named Krystal was going to be part of the cast if the pilot was picked up by Fox, but it wasn't picked up.

I believe it was just one, the pilot episode.

I would have liked to have seen this show played out at least a little bit.I mean i'm a fan of the movie and would have been happy to have seen it carried on throughout the show.Owell i guess not awhole lot i can do about it.

I would have liked to see it too, I was looking forward to it when I first heard about it. I thought, done the right way it could be a good series. It was a popular movie, they would have had a built in audience if they decided to put it on their schedule.

I have it on DVD, it is very good.
