I use Sun-In (Actually a touch of sun, but I call it sun in). What kind does she use?? She said she uses it from a bottle..just what kind? Please respond!

My guess is she gets her hair professionally colored. Saying it "came from a bottle" in that interview (was it Jenny Jones?) could just have been a cute way of saying her hair is dyed or highlighted. (If you want hair that looks "naturally highlighted by the sun", it costs more but I think it's worth it.)

Actually her husband Steve does her hair. She said so in her daily Journal:

August 15, 2001
...It would be tight but we could still have just enough time to check into the RV Park, take showers, Steve could do my roots, (yes, you read it right, Steve does my hair), I could do the kid’s hair and if we unhooked the van we could make better time in order to get to Old Faithful Inn for a 3:00 appointment...We finally pull into the Old Faithful Inn parking lot where we burst into action. Okay, Tucker you take a shower while Steve does my roots. Then Haven take a shower while the bleach sets. In the meantime, I’ll do Clancy’s hair. The timer dings and I hop in the shower while the kids get dressed.
