LOS ANGELES, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Roma Downey ("Touched By an Angel") will guest star in three upcoming episodes of LIFETIME Television's popular series, "The Division," it was announced today by Kelly Goode, Senior Vice President, Programming. Downey will guest star in episodes airing Sunday, May 2, 9 and 16 at 9PM (ET/PT) on LIFETIME Television.

Downey plays the role of Regan Delaney, a mysterious forensic expert from Philadelphia who temporarily joins the Division to help solve a murder case while Jinny (Nancy McKeon) is on maternity leave. Inspector Delaney begins working on a case involving a recovering drug addict who, while tracking down her missing daughter in the foster care system, uncovers a huge scandal. Captain McCafferty (Bonnie Bedelia) also learns that Delaney asked to be transferred to the San Francisco precinct to be closer to an old case in which she has a personal interest.

"Lifetime is thrilled to have Roma join the cast of 'The Division' for three episodes," said Goode. "We think this is a fantastic role for Roma to show her depth and range as an actress."

Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Downey is an Emmy and Golden Globe Award-nominated actress best known for her starring role on the CBS drama "Touched By an Angel." Currently the host of PAX TV's "It's a Miracle," Downey most recently executive produced and starred in the CBS telefilm "The Survivor's Club." She also stars in the soon-to-be-released feature film "Hairy Tales" alongside Matthew Modine. Downey is also well known for her remarkable portrayal of the late Jackie Kennedy in the Emmy Award-winning miniseries "A Woman Named Jackie." She has starred in numerous television movies including the LIFETIME Original Movie "Getting Up and Going Home."

"The Division" stars regular cast members Bonnie Bedelia, Nancy McKeon, Lisa Vidal, Taraji P. Henson, Jon Hamm and Amy Jo Johnson as San Francisco police investigators trying to balance their personal lives with the demands of working some of the city's toughest streets.

"The Division" is produced by Viacom Productions for LIFETIME Television. Deborah Joy LeVine is the creator and executive producer. Aaron Lipstadt is also executive producer

And the artical about Serena Williams....

LOS ANGELES, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Tennis superstar Serena Williams will guest star in an upcoming episode of LIFETIME Television's popular series "The Division," it was announced today by Kelly Goode, Senior Vice President, Programming. The episode entitled "Lost and Found" with Williams will air Sunday, April 25 at 9PM (ET/PT) on LIFETIME Television.

Williams plays the role of Jennifer Davis, a young woman who, after missing for almost 20 years, is reunited with her family. A man is found dead in the Davis' neighborhood. As the pieces of the investigation come together, the Division discovers the dead man was part of a scheme to defraud the Davis family. Also in this episode, Nate (Jon Hamm) realizes that Suzanne (Rebecca Gayheart), the sexy nurse with whom he has been having an affair, is unbalanced.

"Lifetime is proud to welcome Serena to 'The Division,'" said Goode. "We think this is an exciting role for her and an opportunity for our audience to see this unbelievable athlete in a new light."

"I am such a fan of Lifetime," said Williams. "I love the movies for women, and my favorite television show is 'The Golden Girls.' Working on 'The Division' is a dream come true."

that would be pretty fast she hasnt even told hank yet. but i guess it is possible. all seems kind of rushed. i mean, how are you gonna just find out you are pregnant and then go on maternity leave a few weeks later! this show is like a soap opera.... the kid will probably be starting high school next season!

My guess is those 3 episodes were recently taped (or going to be taped), while Nancy is on maternity leave. So they probably will not air for a while.

They said that they're airing May 2, 9, and 16. This all does seem kind of quick. I guess they're going to fast-forward 6 months or something. Whew, there's a lot of unexplained time on TD! LOL.

My guess is that Nancy won't be on those 3 eps, because she would be on her maternity leave. Even though I really like Roma Downey, now there isn't even Jinny on 3 episodes....I never thought I'd see a show without Jinny!
