Intolerable Cruelty... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

So, I dunno if there's a topic pages and pages back, but I'm not one to go looking for topics so I'm making my own. Has anyone seen this movie??? I was expecting something great, ya know, with the good cast...and I normally like movies. But THIS, it wasn't very good...there were good PARTS, but I didn't like it that much. First of all, the humor was kinda that crude humor that I'm expecting in a teen movie (yea yea, I'm a teen) but not in a movie with Edward Herrmann, Catherine Zeta-Jones and George Clooney. But aside from that, it was decent, up to a point. It's like they wanted to do some cool-twisted, weren't expecting it ending, which started to work out well, until they started doing stupid stuff during it and it just looked like an attempt to make the movie longer. So, anyways, I wanted to know you're opinions on it. I was quite suprised by how much I DIDN'T like it.

I didn't like it that much the first time I saw it, but later on I saw it on dvd and I really loved this movie. I don't know, Its better the 2nd time around. Its a darker comedy and its different from any other comedy out there. Catherine & George were great together. I'm not sure what you mean by crude humor?
