I vividly remember FIFTEEN it was one of my favorite shows of all time and still is. I remember all the characters-

Courtney- The Good-Girl whose parents were divorced.

Ashely- the Straight-A student whose boyfriend Matt was an Alcholic.

Brooke- The Witch, cheater, lier, stealer.

Arsmen- The Foreign Exchange student .

Billy- Troubled teen whose parents are divorced (courtney's brother).

Dylan- the Rebel with a band and attitude.

These were the main characters through the series run several other characters came and went. In one season Brooke left and was replaced by an overweight girl (i think). I believe that Brooke moved to Paris or something. At one point i had the entire Fifteen Book series which i loved. Gosh Nickelodeon was so great back in the late 80's/early 90's, to bad its regressed to nothing but Nicktoons.

In a couple of weeks i will be getting the entrie series on tape! I am SOOOO excited.

Just to clear some things up:
Arseman wasn't a foreign exchange student. She was half black and half something else(I don't know. LOL)

Olaf was the foreign exchange student.

Micah was a black kid that came during season 4

I have the entire first sesason on VHS and some eps from seasons 2,3 and 4.

I believe that the name of the girl who replaced Brooke was Amanda, i remember that they used what was once Brooke's home/Bedroom as hers once Brooke left... also what was the name of Brooke's annoying little sister?

Anyone remember the promos for Fifteen "Nickelodeons Continuing High School Saga."

Amanda did not replace Brooke. Amanda was added on as another sister. Brooke's first sister Teresa was sent off to some school of the arts. Amanda was added in as another sister at the beginning of season two and was then gone by the end of that season.

Season four brought a replacement from Brooke by the name of Jennifer.

Season One the black girl's name was Kelly.(Whom they should've kept)

Seasons 2-4 seemed a little watered down. I loved the appearance of the set and characters, but they added uneccessary characters and they should not have made the show to accomodate 7th graders. It was a high school, but next thing you know Matt has a kid sister in season two, then David has got a kid sister in season four, Brooke is given a replacement little sister who is probably the same age as the other sister Teresa.
Billy gets a stepbrother Loyal in season 4 when his father remarries.

The other flaws I have seen are that:

Ashley, Dylan, Brooke, Matt, Courtney, Jake, Arseman all stay fifteen throughout the run while Billy and Dave age.

Characters were disappearing without a trace:Cindy, Olaf, Kelly, Janice, Amanda(At lease Teresa's departure was given an explanation) while new characters are added in but act like they have been there since day one:

Arseman
Stacy
Pepper
John
Micah

But I still loved this show and always wanted to be on it.

Matt and Arseman left during the middle of the last season. Matt went to California and Arseman spent some time in Mexico. Courtney and Jake never made the last season. Courtney transferred schools across town while Jake went to another school for it's science enrichment program. He had a second season hiatus by going to China for six weeks.

Matt was dating Ashley when he told her that his family was leaving town to move to Cali. Shortly afterwards, Dylan moved in with Matt's family and was caught by Matt kissing Ashley. Arseman was also victim since Dylan was dating her. The issue with Brooke's sisters are in my above post.
