Jo will not be in The Netherlands in the reunion - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I recently received some e-mails from the writers of the reunion script - Max Enscoe and Annie deYoung.

When I asked about the rumor about Jo being in The Netherlands trekking through the mountains, they said "all we can say is that the Netherlands is not and was never a destination for Jo. All we can say is that Jo lives!"

It seemed strange there was hardly any mention of Jo in any of the most recent articles. So where in the world will Jo be, what will her career be? Maybe this makes a Nancy cameo a more real possibility? Let the rumors continue...

They went through a lot of effort writing the script and watching the episodes to be as accurate as possible, they even asked me a couple questions on the 'Warner roots' and the name of the Eastland paper.

I'll post more tidbits if/when I receive them.

This sounds good, hopefully she will make a cameo appearance.

FOL is not the same w/out Nancy McKeon, but then again Nancy McKeon is not the same as she used to be. I know, of course everyone changes, but sometimes I wonder if she completely lost her NY accent (I mean completely). Of course, she's a wonderful actress and can probably adjust the way she speaks, but still........

Nancy hasn't COMPLETELY lost her accent, in The Division when she yells or gets angry she has a NY accent, otherwise she sounds like every other californian. But theres still a little NY left in her accent.

Thanx for the info! Maybe there IS hope for her to do a cameo apperance.

And you can definately tell that she has somewhat of an accent when she yells on The Division. It sounds a little like Jo to me. Even on of her lines on there started out like what Jo has said. It went,
Jinny: Basically, people are who people are. Your born, you die pretty much the same person. All the rest is just window dressing.

When she said Your born, you die, I was waiting for her to say you move on, thats life.lol.

you're the inside man on the board for sure! since they asked you questions about the show, maybe you'll even be in the credits as a consultant. Who knows?

I've read many newspaper articles about the reunion and NOT ONE of them says that Nancy will NOT be in it. But rather that she is "unconfirmed".

So, who knows? I'm betting on a last 15 second cameo appearance. Maybe Jo walks in at thwe end and says "hey guys, sorry I'm late". and then the credits roll.

BTW...perhaps ROY will appear! heheh

Good info, TJ. I'm still doubtful, since Nancy McKeon said herself that she would not be involved in the reunion. But as long as she lives, that is fine by me.

I realize that this is not the popular opinion on this board, but if she isn't going to make a cameo, I hope they recast the part. It wouldn't be the same, but faux Jo is better than no Jo. Just watch those episodes from season 6 I believe that she sat out of. They were unberable.

A cameo is a small guest star apperance on a tv show or movie. I wondered that at one time to.

I agree with you on that. Nancy said it HERSELF that there was NO reunion plans including her. So...
My opinion is that the people that writes the script or whoever just hasnt confirmed wheather she will or will not be in it. They're probably still trying to get her to. But IMO she just plain wont do it. And they are holding out just in case...

But they start filming in September and The Division starts the very same month. That would be hard, doing a movie AND show. I just dont think she will. And dont get me wrong, I probably more that anyone want her to do it. But i understand her main reason for not doing it. And IMO it is some what a good one. I still wish she would do it. But we hafta face the truth sometime or another. And the truth bein, She Isn't Going To Do It.

How kewl theey asked u 4 help your so lucky can u ask them if I can come audition to play Jo's daughter?PLEASE..anyway I'm so happy that JO isn't goin to be in the Netherlands.I ment to polt this earlier but I forgot my password and had changed my e-mail long stupid story but anyway the other day my Mom was looking ant the paper and she said MM come here quick so I went running up the stairs and there was a artial in the paper about the runion it just said what is was goin to be about and had a pic of Charlette Rae and Kim Feilds.Then my grandmother told me yesterday there s goin to be one and she was so happy cause she used to watch the show every weeek and she just loved it and she was so sad that Nancy wasn't going to be in it.I thought it was kewl but I'm going to stop now.
