Hi everyone.
Well, I guess there comes a time when all you can do is ask for help. As of late, my family is going through the ringer and I've come to ask all of you to please pray for all of us.
First my grandma had to be in the hospital. She had built up fluid and the doctors said she had congestive heart failure. She is home now, but unfortunately, she's not doing as well as we had hoped. Then, my mom has to go into the hospital and she has a bladder infection that so far is not getting much better. But the topper to all this is that last night we got the news that one of my mom's cousin, who was a police officer was shot and I'm sad to say, he did not make it through. She took this news really hard and it's made it even harder on me. So please, just help us out and thank for listening to me.

I will add your family and their needs to my prayer list. My religion classes pray, and I have two of them, so I get to do it twice a day. The kids in school are great about praying for people. You and your family will be in our prayers. Keep us up to date on how things are going.

Thank you all so very, very much!

This week has really been a week you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy, but I think things are trying to get better. My mom's starting to heal a bit, but slowly. She will in the hospital a bit longer.
My grandma is still not doing very well, and the fluid has come back. She's not in the hospital yet, and we're hoping medicine will work.
As for the cousin we lost, we are all very sad about the whole situation as it was just a very sad situation. If you would like to know that whole story, please let me know and I'll show the newspaper link to the story.
Thank you once again for helping me and my family through all of this. You are all angels!

Even though I'm not a regular poster here on the CATM board, and I don't know you all very well, I'd like you to know that I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as well. I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin and the news about your grandmother.

I got a somewhat update to report. Mom MAY get to come home tomorrow. It's a wait and see type thing. I went to see my grandma tonight and she really didn't look very well. She was really tired. I'm hoping that the medicine she is on will help her feel better.
I just want to let all of you know that I am very grateful for all your well wishes. It has helped me at least keep part of my sanity!

Dani, I'm praying for you and your family. I'm sorry for the loss of your mom's cousin.
They probably put your grandma on a diuretic medicine to pull of excess fluid--sometimes it may take awhile, depending on how bad the CHF is...
Hope your mom gets to feeling better!
Don't forget to take care of yourself as well during this time!

HI!

Mom is home. She will have a nurse through the weekend, but she is home. The funeral for our cousin will be today. Can't go, but will be thinking about him. Grandma surprised us and called to check on Mom. She's not feeling much better, but she's hanging in there. Thanks to all!
