Come on, we all know you have them. What are some songs you really like and listen to that you normally wouldn't? Whether you don't like that genre or artist in general. I'll go ahead and share mine after a few people have done it.

well, what's "guilty" for one may not be guilty for another. For example, liking Abba, The Carpenters or Olivia Newton-John might be guilty for some people in here, but for me, I'm not ashamed. I'm not ashamed about liking disco or bad 80's music either. I'm not ashamed to admit I still listen to the Flashdance soundtrack, or The Pointer Sisters, or Jody Watley or Sheena Easton or other 80's music. Ashamed of your Ace Of Base and Spice Girls cd's? I'm not.

The closest thing to guilty pleasures I have are Yoko Ono and Barbra Streisand (albeit I only really like her 70's and 80's output), those are the only 2 that I have friends who really HATE them, so it's a little guilty for me to admit to liking them. Everyone rags on Yoko, mostly due to bitterness over what she is blamed for by Beatles fans, but I think if she wasn't linked with The Beatles, she would've been more appreciated in her own right. She may have never reached the heights of All Things Must Pass or Imagine as a solo artist, but she's frankly never done anything quite as bad as Pipes Of Peace or Press To Play either.

Kylie Minogue and Cyndi Lauper. Though I honestly do not feel all that guilty.

I do too! I love the '80s station. I love listening to Heidi Selexa in the evening.

I can't believe I'm going to admit this, but I love "Everyday" and "Take Me Away" by Fefe Dobson. Those songs, along with others, were on the MTV station on the plane to London that were played on a continuos loop and I was just so excited that I was going back to Poland that those songs now equate to exciting and happiness.

Yeah, well I like listening to some of the new Jessica Simpson songs...which isn't normally the kind of music I listen to.

I really liked Kylie when she came out with "The Loco-Motion"
during the summer of 1988. It was the summer right before I went into 7th grade and I remember the video on MTV. She was so cute and she had the blond, really curly and fluffy eighties hair. I went right out and bought the CD!
