Default Everybody should treat each other right

I think that we are all human beings on this Earth and i think people should get along with each other and be nice to each other. I think people need to take some time and think about other people besides themselves. I think people should be more giving and greatful for things instead of thinking about themselves first. That's what i wanted to say.

Well unfortunately we don't live in a world like that. People come in all shapes & forms on this planet & ever since the beginning of time, people have taken advantage of other people & killed people. That's a messed up way to look at it but that's just the way people are & there's no way around that. Sometimes i hate dealing with blacks cause we're so damn ignorant & ignorance is something that is never gonna go away from us. Blacks think just because we were raised in the ghetto that we have to act ghetto & they think whites owe them somethin when nobody owes us nothin. We have to get out there & work for what we want & stop making excuses. Blacks think just because what whites did to our ancestors that they owe us somethin. That's a ignorant way to think. What happened to our ancestors was very wrong but we can't change what happened so we have to move on. The thing that is so ignorant about blacks especially young blacks is that we call each other niqqa everyday but when whites call us that, we wanna fight them which is so stupid.

People are too different to all get along. We're all brought up different ways, and we all have different views. We're GOING to disagree, which leads to fights, which leads to hate. I think it's something that just can't be helped, there's too many people in the world.

You're contradicting yourself in the same post. If people come in all shapes and forms, why would you generalize a race of people? Not all of any group thinks or acts the same way as everybody else in that group. You say you hate dealing with Blacks; is there any group you like dealing with? If ignorance doesn't go away, it's because people perpetuate negative stereotypes. As for not being owed anything, you'd might think differently if it were your parents (as opposed to ancestors) forcibly brought over from another country while you basically served as a farmer and received food and a place to sleep as payment. Know your history. Don't criticize the ills of today's world without knowing where it comes from.

I agree. People should set aside hostility and get along with everyone else. It's going to happen sooner or later (along with united world peace; the end of poverty; life expectancy over 100), but I really wish it would happen sooner!

I honestly don't believe that world peace will ever be accomplished.

You don't have nothing to be sorry about. I agree that everyone should respect each others differences and try to get along with each other.

You did nothing wrong Ilovethe80s. There was a time I use to think exactly like you. Especially in the 60's when there were so many people preaching peace not war etc., John Lennon singing Give peace a chance and blah, blah, blah. Oh how I protested these same things.... As I got older I began to see that it is almost next to impossible for that to happen. You can only be yourself and I could only be myself. As long as you're happy with yourself you will always radiate that goodness. Let the others go crazy with their rantings.

I agree with you. Unfortunately, there are people who like to fight and bash others.

Thanks i'm really glad you guys like me i'd like to get to know everybody better thanks for agreeing with what i had to say. I just think that fighting is useless and stupid expecelly on a computer with somebody you never met. I know i can't change everything and this is my opinion but i read some of the other posts and i just don't understand why people are fighting and having arguments over stupid and silly things because there are much more important things to worry about.

There will NEVER EVER be world peace. There will always be bigots on this planet and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

I'd like to think that I'm a pretty nice person. Of course, the crowds of people who shout, "BITCH!" at me and throw burning coals my way make me question my humanity.

What a*sholes Don't make them question your humanity, question theirs...freaking *******s. That's why I don't think world peace will ever be accomplished either. People are just too different, and some people are just so messed up...it's just not possible...

Eh...I'm always looking on the bright side of things. The glass is always half full, ya know? I don't think world peace will ever happen, but we can certainly manage a little peace here at SO. I like your thinking, ilovethe80s.
