"The Brady Bunch" is a family show, but sometimes they get themselves into situations that seem like they are from "Three's Company"...
In "Getting Greg's Goat", Greg is hiding a goat in his room. Peter, Bobby and Mike listen through the vent in the linen closet and think that Greg has a girlfriend stashed in his room. There is something about Carol in a costume that brings out the worst in Mike. When Carol is dressed like a cowgirl, he says, "You can ride my range any time." And when she's dressed like Cleopatra, he says, "You can float on my barge any time." In the Davy Jones episode, Marcia and Greg are dressed like bellhops in order to get into Davy's hotel room. Marcia is pretending to be a boy. Davy's manager comes out and says something about Davy being at the recording studio. Marcia gives Greg a kiss and leaves the room. The manager looks at Greg like he's gay. Greg just shrugs his shoulders and smiles. |

Those were funny.
In the Davy Jones episode, how could the manager NOT know Marcia was a girl?! She has soft feminine features. I also wondered why Greg and Marcia didn't both just run out of the hotel room. Greg wasn't really a busboy and didn't have to clear the dishes. Once they got the info, they should have left together. |

It was California in the 1970s, was a female busperson so unbelievable that Marcia had to appear as a male?
