Default Top Ramen

Who here likes Top Ramen? I've been calling it "oodles and noodles" for years. You know, that 3 minute soup that comes packaged in the big square cubes of squiggly noodes that you have to crush up? They come in various flavors, such as chicken, beef, creamy chicken, salmon, etc.

Despite how crappy the soup is, I really love it. It's not the best food in the entire world, but I really like it for some odd reason. As a matter of fact I'm cooking some chicken oodles and noodles right now.

Who likes it? Who hates it?

Top Ramen's the best. Summer of '00 I had that EVERY SINGLE WEEKDAY. It was insane. My favs. were Oriental, Creamy Chicken, and Roasted Chicken. Sometimes Id like it creamy, so I'd add mayo.

No, yum! Sometimes, if I got sick of mayo, Id replace it with creamy dressing. Didnt matter which flavor. One of the many reasons why Im on a diet.

I hear you.

I used to add a side of fried potatoes ,a good medium rare steak, a salad, and a box of Twinkies to my Ramen. But I had to cut back, so I got rid of the salad.

I used to eat it sometimes when I was a youngin'. My mum would actually take out the liquid, and it wasn't until years later that I found out, it originally comes with broth! Guess I never watched her make it. I never eat it at home anymore. I am far too picky--I don't think of it as "real food" (it's a snack!)* JK.

Seriously though, it's not bad, I ate a ton of it at my friend's, but they lack food and I was starving.

*Incase you didn't read the ritz cracker thread, Sitcom Analyzer said Ritz were "a snack" not "a food."

Its not soup. Its noodles. If you end up with soup, then you are adding too much water. And Your not suppose to break them up.

I prefer the chili flavor. I add ground beef, hot sauce and salt.

Oh my God, that was like my favorite food for years, and my family is Italian, so we actually cook. I still love 'em...just not obsessed anymore.

Have anyone read the label on the salt content part? It feels like eating something right out of the ocean!

My roommate lived on those when he was in college. For years he kept a stash of them in the kitchen, but after a few years, I told him to get rid of them.

They must have an expiration date, right?

The food of poor college students. When I was living in a dorm, I occasionally bought the ones that come in the styrofoam cup. Had peas and carrots in it.
