TV Land Schedule change after the TV Land Awards:

Effective, Thursday, March 18, 2004:

What's new: Green Acres and Lucy Desi-Comedy Hour
What's gone: Maverick, Burns & Allen and Fantasy Island

10:00AM I Love Lucy MON-SAT (replaces Bewitched); The Lucy & Desi Comedy Hour SUN (replaces Burns and Allen/Andy Griffith)

Burns & Allen is part of the Screen Gems Library deal, which is expiring at the end of March. So that explains why it is leaving. This show was most used it seems from this library deal.

That's too bad. I like to watch George and Gracie on Sunday mornings. It's too bad another network doesn't pick up those Screen Gems shows and air them more than once a week. At least they're showing the Lucy-Desi Hour again.

I actually have a few cassettes of "Burns & Allen". I will listen to it on radio instead of watching TV.
