Anyone here heard of Beth Hart?

She's a really great singer who put out her first album: "Screamin for my Supper" in 1999, and has a new cd out called: "Leave the Light On." I bought "Screamin for my Supper" recently, and it's a really good cd, with some great songs. I haven't bought her new album yet, but the title track, "Leave the Light On" is definitely the best song Iv'e heard that's come out in the last 5 years or so. It's an extremely personal, and touching song. Rolling Stone magazine even calls Beth the Janis Joplin sound alike, who she does sound quite similar to at many points in her songs. For anyone who hasn't heard of her, I strongly suggest you buy one of her cd's, or listen to some sound samples of her music at amazon.com or something. In my opinion, she puts most of today's mainstream artists to shame. It's just too bad you don't hear artists like her on VHI, and MTV!
