Just imagine!!!
Can you just imagine the fun and joking that would go on if Freddie, Jack and Scatman were all able to go up to accept the viosionary award on the awards?
Because i am sure without a doubt that if Freddie had gotten the award when he was still with us he would have insited that his co stars accept with him. I smile just thinking about it. |

Ah Joy ...... this is what I envision.......... I took a page from you.......
Announcer - And now the star of Chico and the man Mr. Freddie Prinze!  Freddie heads up to the stage to accept his award..... He is wearing a black tuxedo and his black bow tie. On his feet are his famous brown scuffed shoes. He smiles and looks at the award lovingly. He holds it tight and then brushes a small tear away from his eye. He looks at the award again and then he looks at the audience and says..... My fellow Americans.............. The crowd roars with laughter and they clap........  Freddie says - I just want to thank the Tvland awards for honoring me with such a prestigious award. As you all know I would not be here if it wasn't for my friends Jack Albertson and Scatman Crothers. Come here you guys....... They both go up to the stage. Jack - Give me that award I deserve it Chico! Scatman - Now you know Ed... the boy deserves that award. We've won countless awards between you and me. Let him bask in the glow..... Freddie laughs....... then tells the audience.... I want to Thank you all for giving us this accolade. I want to thank my mother who without her I wouldn't be here. I want to thank my son who is just as famous as me or maybe more so... (He looks at Jr. and winks at him  ). But most of all......... I want to thank the fans for without them and there love for the show...... I truly wouldn't be here today............... Last I want to thank God...... Because if I don't thank God my mother will be pulling my ears tonight....Thank you........... And then the 3 men leave the stage.......

That write up was so cool. I could imagine it all. I love how he would have winked at his son and insisted that Jack and Scatman share in the award...and how he recoginized his mom and his Lord...sounds just like Freddie to me. Love it. Thanks for the smile. |
