Talking Interesting tidbits about music videos

1.Hey Ya(Outkast)-This is only Andre from Outkast singing the whole song.
2.Like A Prayer (Madonna)- Was almost banned because of burning crosses, a black Jesus, interracial affair, and more.
3.I'm Glad(Jennifer Lopez)- Is a replica of the movie Flashdance.
4.Papa Don't Preach(Madonna)- According to Pop-Up-Video on VH1, is not about teen pregnancy/ abortion, but is really about her boyfriend, and when she says "I'm keeping my baby" she is talking about him, not a literal baby.
5.Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See(Busta Rhymes)-Is a replica of the movie Coming To America.
6.Stan(Eminem)- Stan is really Eminem. Eminem played both Eminem and Stan.
7.I Like The Way You Move(Outkast)-Is Big Boi from Outkast and Sleepy Brown singing the song.
8.Come To My Window(Melissa Ethridge)-Juliette Lewis plays a girl going crazy.
9.Cry Me A River(Justin Timberlake)-Is rumored to be about his ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears.
10.First Cut Is The Deepest(Sheryl Crow)-There are two alternate versions for this video. The first one is in a canyon, and the second one is in a concert.
11.Material Girl(Madonna)-Obvious references to Marilyn Monroe. Made people constantly compare her with Marilyn after this video.
12.Barbie Girl(Aqua)-Mattel sued them for not asking permission to make a song about their dolls, Barbie and Ken.
13.I Will Always Love You(Whitney Houston)-According to Pop-Up-Video, Whitney did not want to make this video at some parts. She was tired, cold, and wanted to cry.
14.Dirty(Christina Aguilera)-Was critized by a lot of people for being a wild, raunchy, naughty video.
15.Total Eclipse Of The Heart(Bonnie Tyler)-When she says, "Turn around, bright eyes", these peoples' eyes glow.

It might be interesting if we didn't know all this already.

Come Over To My Window
It's "Come To My Window"

Don't you mean "Material Girl"?

Quote:
Eminem played both Eminem and Stan.
Stan is actually played by actor Devon Sawa.

Actually, there were no burning crosses in "Like a Virgin," that
video was "Like a Prayer."

Quote:
6.Stan(Eminem)- Stan is really Eminem. Eminem played both Eminem and Stan.
"Stan" was not played by Eminem, the character was played by former teen star Devon Sawa.

7.I Like The Way You Move(Outkast)-Is Big Boi from Outkast and Sleepy Brown singing the song.
What's so interesting about that?... We all know that.

Quote:

Obviously.

Burning crosses, a black Jesus, and Marilyn Monroe all in one video?!!!... NO!, once again you are confusing "Like a Virgin." The video you are referring to is "Material Girl."

Quote:
12.Barbie Girl(Aqua)-Mattel tried to sue them for not asking permission to make a song about their dolls, Barbie and Ken.
Mattel DID sue them.

Actually the main controversy sorrounding "Dirrty" was a banner in the video that read, "Sex Tour in Thailand!... Young Girls!"... the Thailand government was appauled by the banner because the prostitution of young girls in Thailand is a huge issue there. The video was banned in several countries, the U.S. only did minor editing.

If that's true, my sister has better sense than me. Because we were watching the video "Stan" and I say that Stan is Eminem. My sister says, "He is not Eminem". I thought that that was Eminem, but they just made him look crazy and a little chubbier.

Default To the people who said that these are well known facts already......

I never said that they weren't well known facts. I said they were "interersting tidbits." They are interesting, but people already know them. It wasn't as though I had said "Interesting, rare, top secret facts that no one knows about!"

"Love Stinks", the J. Geils Band. This video has, among other things:

Drummer Stephen Bladd playing with fish instead of drumsticks;

someone jumping up and down on a pogo stick playing two bugles simultaneously;

a wedding couple in gas masks (love really stinks!);

Guitarist J. Geils getting his picture taken in an automoatic photo booth;

someone slicing a tomato, and;

an ourangatang watching a televsion set with a screen full of snow.

HA HA HA!

Britneys 'Everytime' video was supposed to end with her committing suicide, but got freaked out and changed it at the last minute. She then went on to add that 'she doesnt endorse suicide'. Well, duh.. but its only a video...

Joey broke his foot (or was it knee?) so by the time NSYNC was ready to make 'Pop' Wade Robson filled in for him.

Meh, these are things people already knew.

In "Come Back To Me", the love interest is Rene Elizondo , Janet's boyfriend and soon to be husband. (He is now her ex).
