Default Sign of something? Eyes?

My eyes have gotten to where they just burn all of the sudden for no reason, like it'll get so bad i'll have to just close my eyes and they will still hurt when i close them. It's extremely uncomfortable sometimes. Is this a symptom of anything? My eye sight seems to be fine, my eyes just hurt!

My eyes do the same thing, especially after working long hours. I don't think it's anything to worry about though. Try some eyewash or Visine (sp?) seems to help me.

I get that sometimes, too. Maybe it's eyestrain.

Maybe you're like me and have a tendency to stare without blinking and don't even realize it. I do that way too often. And when I do blink, my eyes are so dry they burn.

Sounds like eye strain. Do you wear glasses or contacts? If not, you might need them for reading and such. I wear glasses when I'm on the computer.

Could by dryness or sinuses,If you get sinues that is,
you may need to see an eye doctor or regular doctor though.

a lot of things could cause it, allergies, if you were contacts, nothing too severe, but if it starts getting to the point where you can't stand it go to the doctors...

Cats don't have to blink very often. I should know, I've owned cats for the past 10 years.
