Princess Guinevere/Starla and the Jewel Riders
I just found an old video with the pilot episodes of this cartoon and watched it last night. I LOVED this show when I was younger, I'd get so mad if I missed it.
Watching it as an adult I still really enjoy it, it was a cool show. I loved the characters, Tamara was my favourite and the animals were awesome, Sunstar especially. I don't think the programme lasted very long though, which is too bad. It's better than most of the garbage on today and had nice messages in it. Any other fans of this series? Also does anyone know why it was called both Starla and Guinevere? Did the title depend on what country the show aired in? I think Guinevere sounds better. Starla's pretty but sounds more manufacted. |
