Growing Pains and Let's Party have been shown on N@N before. Therefor, they aren't controversial.

Are 'A New Life' and 'Ready or Not' considered controversial? I was thinking they are but maybe N@N showed them and I missed it.

panman, I'm not trying to start anything
with you, but technically those two episodes are controversial. I'm pretty sure that N@N did not air them the first time FOL was aired on N@N. But, I will admit that N@N did air them the 2nd time around. But, if you noticed that those two episodes were about alcohol, N@N does consider those two episodes controversial. |

episodes as controversial, I could be wrong though. Because if "Ready or Not" is considered controversial then so is "The Facts of Love" and "My Boyfriend's Back". In all three episodes sex is mentioned. In two of the episodes Tootie considers having sex, but she didn't. In the other episode Blair was fooling around with her boyfriend and was thinking of experimenting a little. That's just my thought! |

angel676: I got the impression from past posts that the controversial episodes are the ones N@N won't show. But I could be wrong. I can see how the others that you mentioned that deal with alcohol might be considered controversial. I guess I just thought that if N@N is airing the episode, then they must not think it is very controversial.
Regardless, I think that 'Ready or Not' and 'a New Life' have been previously referred to as controversial episodes. Does anyone know if N@N has ever shown these? [This message has been edited by Lynn (edited 08-12-2001).] |

Lynn, you are right! N@N won't air the
controversial episodes. But during the first time FOL was aired, they didn't air "Growing Pains" and "Let's Party". This is a big "if", N@N could have aired a few controversial episodes to get us off their back. Alot of us wrote N@N a ton of letters about them not airing the controversial episodes. They might have gotten sick of all those letters and decided to air a few of them, at least the ones that they thought were appropriate even for the younger youth. Alot of today's youth knows about alcohol. That's just my opinion though! |

Controversial= Not shown on N@N (just my opinion)
so therefore Growing Pains and Lets Party arent. But Ready or Not and A New Life are controversial. Because they havent been shown so they have to be. |
