Funny Ladies of British Comedy - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I watched a program on TV Sunday called The Funny Ladies of British Comedy. They profiled a number of women who have featured on britcoms over the years. I suppose if forced to pick a favorite I would pick Penelope Keith from The Good Nieghbours and To the Manor Born. Do you have a fovorite britcom funny lady?

I always enjoyed Miranda Richardson's work on the Blackadder series.

Definitely Jennifer Saunders. She is brilliant at writing comedy and acting comedy. Just look at Absolutely Fabulous.

Also, honorable mention to Joanna Lumley and Julia Sawalha who also star in Ab Fab.

I've always thought that Mollie Sugden(Mrs. Slocombe on Are You Being Served?) is a very funny lady!

I always thought Hyacinth Bouquet(Bucket) (Patrica Roulette) on Keeping up appearances was funny has heck. Everything seemed to back fire on her, lol.

Stephanie Cole from "Waiting for God" was profiled on this show too I think.
Very funny actress along with all the others. Not sure i could pick one.
