This hasn't been aired in awhile but I was watching Golden Girls one day and then later that night I watched Mama's Family and it made me think of the episode of the Golden Girls that Ken Berry was on. He played Thor Anderson a guy that liked Rose from high school. They went on a hay ride together and kissed. Rose didn't remember him until he skipped away to go to the bathroom. She eventually confessed to him that she was only dating him to make Charlie jealous. In the end before he left he kissed Rose and said "That ought to last me another 20 years." Then he left and Blanche said "A kiss unlocked your memory." Rose says "That man couldn't kiss 20 years ago and he can't kiss now."
I thought that episode was so sweet and funny and now that I have seen Mama's Family with all three of them on it, Ken, Rue, and Betty it is weird. Betty's character Ellen was Ken's character Vint's sister and Rue was his aunt and for Ken and Betty to play exes and kiss was funny. I just thought I would mention that. What a small world! andress_jade |

Haha, I remember that! I saw that episode -- I THINK they made that episode in 1992? It was so sweet...
And really weird not to see Ken in a Vinton role!

I hope I don't offend anyone here but Ken Berry's hairy hands are kind of gross!
Ever notice his hands?

I know that making fun of someones physical flaws is immature or mean. I love Ken Berry! But his hands are a turn off . For me anyway! Oh well, nobody's perfect!

His arms are pretty hairy too. Ah, well, what is he supposed to do, shave his hands and arms? *shudders at that thought*

I think she just loved the fact that she got to work with Ken Berry and kiss him. I don't normally pay attention to people's hands anyway unless they are sticking them in my face or talking about them. Ken Berry is awesome anyway!
