Question Days: Is Marlena Redeemable In Your Eyes?

I think so, considering what Kalouria and Corday have said (of course they backstab and lie all the time) and what Deidre and Drake have said about this being a love story and about John saving Marlena. So most likely somehow this isn't really Marlena doing these things. So the real Marlena is innocent and redeemed.

"Yes, it does look really bleak right now (for John and Marlena). I know that, but as in any good fairy tale there's a lot of pain to get through in order to reach the end of a good or happy ending." ~ Ken Corday

Cool Don't think the killer is Marlena...

I honestly think the Killer is Hattie. It can't be Marlena's twin sister Samantha, as she was killed by the Salem (strangler?) ...at any rate, Samantha is dead. Marlena wouldn't kill anyone, unless she had a chip in her brain (gift of Stefano). BTW, Stefano is coming back, he will be bouncing back and forth between Y&R and Dool (from what I hear). Hattie being the killer makes sense. IMO anyway.

Joseph (Stefano) isn't on Y&R, do you mean B&B and DOOL? And where did you hear that he was coming back? *Note: I'm not trying to be snotty I'm just very skeptical about rumors after the whole Labor day thing.*

It can't be a twin! Marlena has memories of giving birth to Belle. Remember, Marlena was about to kill her a couple weeks ago and suddenly had memories of giving birth to her. Unless, it is a twin with a chip planted in her head like Hope and John had.

Default Marlena had a twin

Quote:
It can't be a twin!
Marlena's twin Samantha was killed in the 80's. Hattie isn't Marlena's twin, but a look identical in costume. So your right, it couldn't be a twin, I never said it was a twin, just that she had one. Like I said, it's just my opinion, I still think it's Hattie...I could be wrong. (Hope I don't seem rude)

Check these out.

Check the message boards & spoilers... I can't remember which said what, or if it was both I got my info from, but try these.

I hope this helps!

Reilly and Corday told Deidre that it was not Hattie, it was not a brain chip, it was not Samantha, it was Marlena. Now they didn't say it was not a clone, so maybe it's one of the clones Stefano made of Marlena back in 96. Oh and he also told her it was not another possession. BUT as Reilly and Corday lie, and they lie to the actors, they did it to Bill Hayes and they did it to us about Frances.

If you watched today's show then you saw Doug tell Marlena that she would die too. Okay here's another one of my theories - I think that Alice will be saved by John just as Marlena is about to kill her and to stop her John will kill Marlena, just as Celeste has predicted over & over. My other new theory, though this is far-fetched but it ties in with my other theory that the victims aren't really dead, is that Marlena is working on an experiment to bring people back from the dead and she has to kill a certain number of people to see if it will work and when it does, everybody comes back. I'm full of theories. Man oh man do I need to get some sleep-LOL

I really think that's just a rumor. Besides, I don't think daytime actors can appear on contract status on a soap for more than one network. I mean, the other networks are the competition.

Even though I had my theories, every time I watch Marlena I think that she has just truly flipped her lid (and Dustin of "Dustin's Days of Our Lives Page seems to agree with me). Here's a quote on Dustin's thoughts from his website:

Quote:
March 9: Quick Thoughts on the shocking twist!
Everyone keeps asking me why I think Marlena might be going on this killing spree, and what I think the shocking twist that has never been done before will be. Over the past few days I really started thinking something shocking. A large number of people out there are expecting a really profound explanation for why Marlena is killing. What if the explanation is not profound at all, what if it is very simple and has been in front of us the whole time. What if Marlena has just gone nuts? It is not like it is out of the ordinary or far fetched, and from what I've heard it is not uncommon for psychiatrists to lose it due to the weight of all their patients problems. What if Marlena has just gone nuts, and the shocking twist is that she is convicted and sent to jail (or dare I suggest a worse punishment?). This would be simply shocking because we would never expect it! We are either expecting Marlena to be redeemed or expecting her to have some great reason for doing this (possessed, controlled by Stefano, alternate universe, etc). What if the shock is . . . . . . there is no shock! The only flaw I can think of with this theory is that I don't know if it falls under the "never been done before on daytime."
I have a feeling that Reily and Corday are actually telling the truth about the killer really being Marlena and not a twin, clone, possession, mind control, etc.

I hate to break it to you (not to be snotty or anything), but it is with 99% certaintly that Alice is going to be the next to die, unfortunately.

I'm very aware that Alice will almost certainly die, I was just throwing some theories out there and seeing if they stick so to speak. I guarantee you that when Alice is "killed" it will be at Tom's grave stone. She will be visiting Tom's grave and discover Doug's index card will Marlena's name on it and that's when Marlena will show up. Mark my word, whatever happens with Alice, it will take place at the cemetery. I still think most of Marlena's victims aren't dead and will turn up in a few months though.

Here's what I HONESTLY feel will happen and I've felt this way ever since November back when Celeste started that crap about John killing Marlena. I've been keeping it in the back of my mind, because frankly it scares the heck out of me.

What I think will happen is the BIG May shocker cliffhanger that Reilly has so proudly talked about will be a showdown, so to speak. I think John will chase the killer and he will kill her, without seeing who she is, and then he will go to see if she's dead and that's when he'll find out that he killed Marlena then John kills himself. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have even said it, but that's what my gut has said all along, BUT I still think there will be an out for BOTH of them because Marlena will go to trial, at least that's what Corday said. Anyway, I'm pushing that back to the deep recesses of my mind, got to think happy optimistic thoughts.

That would just totally suck if that were to happen. I sure hope you're wrong.

Me too. I mean I REALLY hope I'm wrong. I mean look at the quote in my signature from Corday, he says they'll have a happy ending. So if it does happen they'll have some kind of out or maybe it wont' happen at all.
