found out tonight that the Dish Network is getting rid of these channels

BET
MTV
VH1
Comedy Central
CBS

The only good news for Dish Network subscribers is that N@N is being REMOVED TOO

Oh yeah. Today I was watching MadTV and a scroll kept coming on the bottom of the screen saying that. Whatever... it doesn't apply to me.

I know EchoStar (the company that owns Dish) and Viacom are in some sort of dispute over compensation.

OMG!!! This is UNBELIEVABLE! I especially can't believe CBS is leaving! How are people going to watch their programming?

A few months back, a Birmingham, AL TV station, owned by Echostar was taken off the air for a few days from Dish over a dispute.
