Default zach and lisa

why didnt they build up on the zach and lisa storyline. i mean, one minute they were kissing and screech gave zach his blessling. after that though, they acted as if the kiss never happened. i really thought zach and lisa would have been good together

I really thought of them more as friends...maybe the writers thought that too. But I do agree, they should have ended the story with something other than just forgetting about it.

This is what annoyed me the most about SBTB. They'd start up things and then just drop them at the touch of a hat. It was so infurating sometimes.

I didn't like the idea of Zack and Lisa as a couple (I don't think they had any chemistry and I've always been pro Zack/Kelly) but the writers should've finished what they started.

It also bugged me the amount of times a new character was introduced in episodes and they made it look like he/she would stick around. Like the girl wrestler Zack dates in "Hold Me Tight"...they had a good relationship but by the next episode she'd disappeared and was never mentioned ever again like she'd never existed in the first place. Or that girl Slater rescued from the fake drowning in the Malibu Sands episodes. She said she was going to Bayside but she was never seen or heard of again after that one ep either. Grrr.

Dream Sequence, I am a pro Zack/Kelly too, and I actually thought Lisa had a pretty decent chemistry with Zack. Imo, all of the other girls, who didn't stay on the show long, that Zack dated didn't really have any chemistry with him that's why I didn't care for Stacey or Tori with Zack, but when it came to Lisa I thought they actually made a decent couple for a little bit (of course they didn't compare to Zack and Kelly).

I think Zack and Lisa could have dated for a couple of episodes and then realized they were better as friends and then go back to being just friends. Because I'm like you barb1686, I preferred them as friends also and wouldn't have wanted to see anything long-term from them, because I'm a Zack/Kelly fan.

Speaking of Kelly didn't it seem odd that she seemed to be happy for Lisa and Zack hooking up. It would have been more realistic if she would have gotten a little jealous even if she didn't really have the right to since she did dump Zack. But if Screech got mad at Zack, I would think Kelly would be a little upset at Lisa because Zack was her ex and Lisa was her best friend playing out the best friends shouldn't date ex boyfriends scenario.

Actually, I agree with that. It just seems wrong, but whatever.

Actually I'm glad the Zack and Jessie thing didn't go far, they didn't have any romantic chemistry imo. Don't get me wrong they were good as best friends, but nothing more.

Zack & Jessie were best friends. They had the best chemistry for that. Dating would have ruined their relationship...it was best that they didn't work out.

I suppose so, but with Jessie & Zack I think it would be different. Zack & Kelly became close because of their relationship. And I know what you're going say...that it could bring Zack & Jessie closer too. I don't think so. I think it would have brought them further apart. Maybe not. I guess we'll never find out.
