Not Fair!

i have been with this board a long time, but won't use my real name, because i am afraid of u all hating me, but..

I don't think it is fair that the kids TJ kicks off can just come right back under another name like nothing happened. like Dana, Morgan, and Brittany did! They should be banned. they used horreible launguage and thought it was funny! i don't want to start a fight, i am just saying that it isn't really a good punishment!

I was thinking the same thing. Unfortunately there's not much else that can be done, without removing the entire board itself. I just hope that things do cool down.

I'm only 13, and I dont' like it at all that they can do that.Now, the people on this board could all just be mad at all the people who are "kids" and hold grudges against all of us, even those of us who didn't do anything!(I did post my opinion, but I did it very cleanly and I wasn't trying to offend anyone)

Not everyone knows that he/she is even offending someone at all, which is how lots of problems here get started.

We all have different opinions and obviously won't all agree with you unfortunately.

If everyone agreed with one another 100% then there'd be NO message board.

But just keep in mind that NOT agreeing with you doesn't mean that we don't like you.

Okay, I must admit that Britt, Dana and I cussing a numerous amount of times was wrong and totally uncalled for. It just started out as fun, you know, just a joke, but we DID get carried away. However, our opinions on Lisa Whelchel were not uncalled for. Opinions are welcome here, aren't they? Anyway, we've been given one more chance under the condition that we never do what we did ever again on this board. We're really trying to behave now and we apologize for what we did. Don't think that I'm some ignorant person cuz believe me, I'm not. Sure, I have posted my fair share of angered replies, but I am a very opinionated person and whenever I feel like I'm being insulted or made fun of, I defend myself and I have a tendancy to be mean and hasty - it's a defense mechanism. Ask some people from the TD board who have talked to me before. I'm not at all cold or heartless or whatever. And I assure you, neither are Britt and Dana. They're both very nice people. So the three of us are really sorry for what we did and we really wanna stay at the board cuz it's so awesome. Besides, everyone deserves a second chance, don't they?

Ya know, I just wanted to say, if you have something to say, just say it. Don't worry about people hating you. If they hate you over an opinion then they aren't your friends anyway. I disagree with my roommate on alot of things (mostly politics) but we don't hate each other!

Besides, there is no way to be anonymous on this board, unless you post from a different computer in a different house.

Right on! We might not agree with you, but it doesn't mean that we're against you.

And if anyone is annoying you...
Just tell the person that he/she is offending you and WHY. Whether or not he/she stops is a different story, but at least you'd have done your part in trying.

There have been lots of nuisances on the board in the past, but most people seem to be understanding enough to try to NOT offend you.

Thank you for speaking the truth! I fully believe in stating your own opinions despite the fact that other's may hate you for it.
