Okay I know Katy Segall Plays the mom. Her 3 kids are still there.
John Ritter played her husband. Now He that he's gone, James
Garner and David Spade are on the show. Now my question is
ON THE SHOW is James Katie's father ? Or John's? Are David and
Katie brother and sister? Or was David John's brother?

Jim is Cate's father. He is grandfather to Bridget, Kerry, Rory, and C.J. C.J. is Cate's nephew. His mother is Cate's sister. He is cousins to Bridget, Kerry, and Rory.

I was getting ready to post that very question then I thought I better go through previous posts. So, why is C.J. living with them and not on his own or w/ his mom?
I watched this show every week before John's death then I kinda drifted away, now I have drifted back. I think the addition of James Garner was good. I like him.
I just had a hard time tuning in. I can't imagine what his real life family are going through. As well as his t.v. family.
