Default It was so funny how Mr. Furley Teased Jack about being Gay and never had no........

LOVE LIFE-LOL Mr. Furley could not tease anyone because he was a LONELY OLD MAN. Now Mr. Roper could have teased him but not Furley. If I was Jack, i would have said this when Mr.Furley teased me about being gay, "MR. FURLEY DO YOU EVEN HAVE A WOMAN IN YOUR LIFE??

Good point. Mr. Furley always acted like he was a Casanova, but the women didn't want him.

Yeah, I've thought about that too. Technically, Mr. Furley had said his brother would never allow a straight man to live with two girls. They probably could have told Mr. Furley the truth and just not tell his brother.

And I guess it was a bit surprising in "The Night of the Ropers" episode when Jack still had to act gay in front of Mr. Roper. You think he would have known the truth by then.

I don't remember Jack acting gay around Mr. Roper on Night of the Ropers

Well, Jack was talking to Mr. Roper about what women want from men and he said he knew that from other people who were into that sort of thing.

Yeah i just saw it. Jack said-"Between me and you, some of these women are fantastic" and then mr. roper stares at him and he started acting gay-LOL Maybe he still had to pretend because he could have easily told Mr. Furley while he was in town.

I seriously remember you asking this same exact question in the past, but ah well.

To answer the question, maybe Furley was secretly gay himself and teased Jack to cover it up. Either that, or he just couldn't get a date...

Default Furley...a man of the times!

I seriously doubt he was gay! Ralph had his way with the women, but they found it to be repulsive! But hey, he is a man of the times! "So what did you have for lunch...a fruit salad? And what did you have for dessert...lady fingers?" I just about doubled over when Ralph said that to Jack!

what always amazed me about the whole jack gay thing is that living in an apartment building, jack probably had say 50- 100 neighbors...mr roper or furley would have probably made fun of the fact jack was gay probably to mostly if not all the people in the building, regal begal, etc......you would think somewere along the line in the 8 YEARS jack lived there SOMEONE would have mentioned to those 2 dopes he's not gay i see him with women all the time-what are you talking about. furthermore if your that close to someone--and jack and mr roper/furley were...you would think that the truth about him not being gay wouldn't have bothered them anymore. i thought it would have been cool if furley would have told in the end "yeah jack roper and i know you weren't gay for years, we just thought it would be fun to still
raze you".
