Question Favorite Theme Song

Which theme song did you like better, the first season theme song, or the one they used for the rest of the seasons? I personally liked the original one best. Nice classical music!

I liked them both. But I must admit that the second one is easier to that dance she does when she comes out of the bottle in the opening sequence!

I like the second theme song better, because it's a lot more catchier and more tropical.

I think the 1st one is really charming and I think they wrote lyrics for it too if I'm not mistaken. I remember the opening in the first 1/2 of the first season tells the story of how Tony met Jeannie on the island. I think Mel Ferrer is the narrator. I could see why they dropped the original traditional sounding music when they went to clor to be more hip, but even though I haven't seen this show in a dog's age I can't get that original theme withthe big orchestra sound out of my head.

I chose the second. The first was boring...

I liked both and have the Jeannie CD that has both versions, and the themes from the reunion movies. Got them from ebay.

I like the first half of the first season the best, where the story is told in flashback of how Jeannie and Tony met.

I like the first one. It sounds more like a romantic comedy. (which was the intention of it). Sort of like one of those old Doris Day/Rock Hudson movies.

no, they're weren''t lyrics to the first theme (at least, as far as I know). There were some to the 2nd theme.

Both themes are good but I prefer the second one a little bit better.
