Neighbours is coming to Oxygen cable network in the U.S., weekdays 1 and 1:30pm ET/PT starting Monday, April 19, 2004.

Neighbours has been a favourite in the UK for years as well. It commands decent viewing figures.

Dare i say it... it's not quite as fake and plastic as the US soaps but not quite as gritty and depressing as the UK ones.

One of the stars of Neighbours in the 80's was Alan Dale who now plays the evil Father in Law on The OC

You'll notice that Kylie Minogue looked quite different on Neighbours.If she hasn't had some surgery I'll eat my hat.

Neighbours isn't that great a soap....Its pretty popular here in Australia but mostly among teenagers.The acting is so bad i could cry.
