Does anybody know which season in Full House had the highest rating?

Was Season 1 the one that had the loset rating?

Most likely.

The critics HATED the show, but especially in the 1st season. I think it was almost cancelled several times.

What was so bad about the first season?

I know some of the episodes in Season one weren't that great, but is there anything else they hated?

According to that, the ratings for the 1st season aren't that good enough. So they decided to canceled the series, but it was not. The 3rd season was climbing up and again in the 4th-6th season and the ratings go down by the final two seasons.
