Effective, Wednesday, March 3 THROUGH MARCH 18 ONLY:
8:00PM The Cosby Show 7 days a week (replaces Carol Burnett) 8:30PM The Cosby Show 7 days a week (replaces All in the Family) 9:00PM-12:00AM Mini-marathons: Mondays: Leave it to Beaver; Tuesdays: All in the Family; Wednesdays: The Andy Griffith Show; Thursdays: The Munsters; Fridays: Bonanza; Saturdays: Gunsmoke; Sundays: Cheers (all replaces Sanford & Son, Bewitched, The Andy Griffith Show, Leave it ot Beaver, Family Ties, and Cheers) Everything else is the same. This means Family Ties is gone for these few weeks and Carol Burnett is down to Thursday nights 1-3am. It seems the regular line-up will return after the TV Land Awards airs on March 17 from 9-11pm, and it will encore again from 11pm-1am. |

Cosby has got enough money...Why does't he start the Cosby Show Network (CSN). Why in the hell is the Cosby Show going to TV Land? Is it also on N@N? Just what is TV Land thinking???
And what is up with the mini-marathons??

Any day now you will see Fox News or MSNBC preempted for "A very special episode of the Cosby Show" Viacom has just gone completely nuts. |

I think I speak for everyone here when I say; Let's get Family Ties on DVD! I'm sure it will happen sooner or later, but sooner would be nice.

I still love that show. "Family Ties" is the place to be. If the show ends on TV Land next month, I am going to be sad.

Pav, how does Family Ties do in the ratings on TV Land? I heard it wasn't doing well.
I think there are two problems causing viewership to not be very high: 1.) lack of promotion - people don't know they can watch Family Ties on TV Land; they just figure it's in syndication limbo somewhere and 2.) somehow, the show hasn't aged well. I can't quite pinpoint why. I still love the show, though. |

The show did bad in the ratings on TBS and Nick@Nite as well. I guess syndication wasn't a good thing for Family Ties, sadly. |
