I wish more teams around the league would play like Utah. How is it that with the players Utah has, they are 31-30 this yr? The Wizards & Cavs have better players than Utah but Utah is better than both of them. I wonder why. Well for one thing Jerry Sloan has his team playing as a team. He knows he doesn't have much to work with but his guys play hard & that's why they're successful. Utah has really surprised me this yr. I just knew since Karl Malone & Stockton left that they were gonna be sorry this yr but they fooled everyone. Andrei Kirilenko, Raja Bell, Carlos Arroyo, Greg Ostertag & the rest of the guys have played awesome & they've been beating teams that they aren't supposed to beat. Deshawn Stevenson played well for them before he was traded to Orlando for Gordon Giricek. Matt Harpring was also playing well for Utah before he got hurt & he's out for the rest of the season. Utah just keeps on playing hard & they know that Matt is one of their best players but they haven't quit. Most players would give up knowing their best players are hurt but Utah doesn't quit. That's what i like about Jerry Sloan. I definitely think he should get coach of the yr cause nobody thought Utah would be playing like this. They might make the playoffs this yr.

So what if they get beat in the first round of the playoffs. At least teams will know not to take Utah lightly anymore. Utah is sending a message to the rest of the league that they don't really have that many good players but they're playing together as a team & that's what sports is about. So many teams have talent but they don't play as a team. It's all about themselves & how much money they make. That's all most players seem to care about nowadays. Utah players don't care who takes the most shots or who scored more points than somebody else. It's all about playing as a team to them. That's what Jerry Sloan has instilled in them. Hubie Brown should also be a candidate for coach of the yr cause Memphis is playing outstanding basketball.

Stromile Swift is tight. Did u see the dunk he did when he caught the ball with one hand when Bonzi threw him a alleyoop against the Nets? He also did a tight dunk against somebody a few weeks ago. It might've been against Golden State when he dunked on somebody.

Utah beat the Lakers last night in Utah 88-83. Shaq got ejected. Utah is a very good team. Teams continue to sleep on them.
