I'm writin this because CD and Nate broke up and me and my girlfriend just broke up.

Setting: After That's Them.

"Huh?" Nate came out of his gaze and looked at Raina.
"I said are you ready?"
"Yeah." He stood and followed Raina out of the Division. Magda looked at Jinny.
"Poor guy." Mag said.
"Yeah. Kinda how I felt when Jack and me broke up."
"How's the baby?" Magda changed the subject.
"It's fine. The doctor said I could go back in a few weeks and find out the sex. I told Hank. He wants it to be a boy."
"Are you gonna get a test?"
"Test?"
"To find out who the baby's dad is."
"I already know it's Hank!"
"What if it isn't? Let's face it, Jinny. You've been with more men than I can count."
"Butt out!" Jinny stormed out of the room, bumping into Stacey.

Jinny pressed a button on the elevator and waited for it, thinking about what Magda said. She had her share of sex. Maybe I should get checked out. Jinny said to herself. The elevator doors opened.

Nate looked at the note CD wrote him. Her 'excuse' for leaving. He picked it up. Walking to the trash can, he balled it up and threw it in.
Nate sat on the couch and turned on the TV. Gone with The Wind was on. He turned it. Titanic. He turned it. The news. Nate put the remote down and watched a sexy reporter named Claire talk about the gay bashing that happened yesterday. Thank God that case's closed. Nate thought. Sick of hearing about it.

Jinny sat in the room, taking off the band-aid she got when she was pushed into a wall. She dug through her pockets and put another on.
The doctor came in, holding a chart.
"We got the results of the father." He said.
