Question Overshadowed by Famous Celebrity Relatives

Can you name celebrities, in any field, who never achieved the fame of their superstar relatives.

Alec Baldwin - Choose any brother. None made it as far as Alec.

Brian Doyle-Murray - I'm a fan, but brother Bill is more famous.

Barbra Streisand's sister, Rosalyn Kind, is very talented, but not a household name.

Jeff Bridges made it bigger in films than brother Beau Bridges.

one thing I've noticed is that the older Bill has gotten, the more and more him and Brian look alike. When Bill was younger and I heard Brian was his brother, I didn't see the resemblence

while both "other" brothers have done reasonably well, I think both Chris and Michael Penn (who had a hit single in the early 90's and continues to perform) will always be in Sean Penn's shadow

Linda Lopez is nowhere as famous as Jennifer, but her boyfriend (E.T.'s Chris Booker) is a lot cuter than any of J. Lo's guys besides Cris Judd

while I think Kate has done fine so far, she has awhile to go before she really catches up with her mom IMO.

Julian Lennon- son of John Lennon

I don't know how well known Julian is compared to his late father and former beatle John Lennon, but that's another one.

Also the late singer Selena Quintanilla and her father former Los Dinos singer Abraham Quintanilla.

Julian Lennon went through a phase around 1985 where he was fairly popular, but it started going downhill with his second album in 1986, John was still bigger regardless.

Tho I'd say Julian's done a lot better than Sean Lennon did when he released an album. A shame because people were "he's Yoko Ono's son too". I am in a minority but I actually like Yoko and always wanted to hear Sean's cd to hear how the two of them mixed together would sound like

I have to respectfully disagree with these.

I don't think Goldie has been overshadowed by her daughter at all.

Marlo and her dad Danny...tough call, but he was very famous in his day.

Kirk and Michael...I guess to a degree. Michael has the Oscars, and he got into directing, yet Kirk Douglas was a megastar back in the day.

Most definitely. I like Chris a lot, but I've never even heard of Michael Penn.

Michael's a singer-songwriter. He had a really big hit in the early 90's called No Myth ("what if I was Romeo in black jeans"). He was more coffeehouse rock, he's married to Aimee Mann (formerly of Til Tuesday and now a respecting solo artist in her own right), but No Myth is the only success he had on the pop charts.
