Post Lisa and Family

Hi everyone. I've just visited Lisa's new, nicely reconstructed site and after browsing through it, I developed this overwhelming fear. 'Why' you ask? Well, I'll tell you. Keep in mind that the following is MY own opinion.

Okay, Lisa and her picturesque family life is SCARY! As I browsed through the different sections of her site and read the entries from her daily journal, I cringed and even became nauseous. It seems as though she thinks that she has the perfect family.

Her husband Steve is one freaky oddling. He has Lisa wrapped around his little finger. I believe that he has an electronic dog collar on her that he controls her with. My guess is that he has the control to that collar hidden somewhere in that RV. If Lisa is good and obeys him, she gets a treat. But if she's bad, he pushes a button on that control that sends a shock throughout Lisa's entire body. I wonder if he even lets her eat breakfast with the family in the mornings. What happens if she jumps up on the table for a piece of bacon? Does he swat her nose with a newspaper? I wonder...

And how about her three little children? Poor kids! They're so sheltered. What on Earth do they do for fun? That's a question that I've been pondering for quite sometime. You know something? If Tucker kicks Haven, he gets a spanking! Oh my. If I kicked one of my siblings, my parents would simply tell me to not do it again. What happens if Tucker leaves his shoelaces untied? Will Lisa barricade that ten year old child in his bedroom? Oh, wait, that's not creative! Maybe she will have him lick the kitchen floor clean. Ah, yes, very creative!

Which brings me to her book, Creative Correction. Oh yes, parents! Let Lisa Whelchel tell YOU how to discipline YOUR children.

I don't plan on reading anymore of her disgustingly happy views of the world and her RVing trip. It honestly frightens me and makes me sick. I'm a Christian myself but I believe that Lisa is just too religious.

I refuse to allow Lisa Whelchel to brainwash me with her wholesome ways. Her cheerful outlook on life makes me gag. She's Steve's bitch. I don't want any of her useless creative correction and I'm definitely not going to join her cult.

Okay, I'm done now. I'm expecting for all of you Lisa fans out there to bombard me with angry comments, but let me remind you that I'm just stating MY opinion. So start posting your angered replies. Go right ahead - it's not like I'll lose any sleep over it. I'm ready. Bring it on.

O My Gawd I totally agree on everything u just said! Her family is just toooo fake! If I were her kid I would run away! Her kids cant breathe a word about each other or they get a "spanking" yea thats really creative! Ok for those who havent read this, she has her kids wear a clicker around their neck and if they say yes or no ma'am or sir they get to click once and 2 times for an adult they dont know! If they get 100 clicks they get a whole dollar! O man I dont know what Steve has done to her, but whatever it is...it cant be good! I believe in God and go to church, but these people are just TOO religious! Their perfect life makes me sick! This is also MY opinion! O yea and i agree that She is Steve's bitch!
BTW did u see the pic of her feeding him while he drives! Thats not even right!

<< She's Steve's bitch.>>

Everyone sing along...."And they're know we are Christians by our love, by our love, yes they'll know we are Christians by our love."

You're such a tease. You're welcome to your opinion, but you couldn't possibly be a Christian.

I don't know wat to think really. This is only because it's their life. If they want to tell the world they are the perfect family, go ahead and let them. People aren't perfect, only GOD is perfect. I am a Catholic Christian and I do believe that only GOD is perfect. He made us in his image, not exactly like him. Lisa might be a fake, but let's give her the benifit of the doubt.

Interesting views...I won't go so far as to say that Lisa is too religious. It does seem a little shmaltzy sometimes, but if that's what makes her happy, then that's fine. I agree that some of her disciplining techniques are a little extreme. I personally don't belive in spanking, and I read also that as punishment for the same incident, he had to walk behind the other family members. That's a little degrading, in my opinion. But I admire Lisa's positive attitude and all the good things that she does, and I think that overall, she is a very cool person.

I was wondering when someone would say something about this. I have been reading her journal every other day or so and find it quite interesting. I'm interested in religion and spirituality and many people that I respect and admire very much have great "faith". I want to understand it and feel that way too, but then I turn on a religious show on TV and the lady starts talking about how Harry Potter and Pokemon are evil and of the devil. That's enough to turn me off right there. How stupid. It seems that some religions require that you disengage your brain from your body in order to truly have faith. Reading her journal, they all seem very happy. So to each his own I guess. But I must admit that it makes me nautious for someone to think that it was "The Lord" who blessed them with a 24 Karat gold shower head and an RV washer/dryer. That seems odd that God would think a nice shower head would make someone happy.

You have a right to give your opinion, and I respect you for giving it, but the above comments are extremely uncalled for.

There's nothing wrong with devoting a lot to your religion and beliefs, and I respect HER for doing so.

Plus, she is NOT her husband's bitch.

Seriosely I don't see how she is always so happy! GEEZ! DOESN'T SHE EVER HAVE A BAD DAY!? ANd her ridiculouse ways of punishing her children make me sick. Her "Creative" ways of punishing aren't creative, they're just stupid and degrading for her kids. If I were them I'd run FAR FAR away from her and that thing she calles her husband.

On April 24, 2008 Kaley and I are going too meet in LA, and hancuff ourselfs too Nancy McKeons car, or better yet her! And your not! Were also gonna find Jay Harrington too.

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh, yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she blew her brains out!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, uh yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight! and for me, a few weeks ago when I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy:Stop! What are you...
Jinny: Ya know what? This is who I am, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter! *long pause* Yeah... Thats what I thought.

Im am also a christian and my mom has taught
me not to judge others as part as being a christian.Im an Independent Baptist.(Well at
least thats what we were at the last church we went to.Were inbetween churches now)Part
of that is that woman cant ware pants you cant go the the movies or talk about movies
and you cant watch N@N or the Division.(Thats
what our last pastor said. This pastor could care less)Anyway he and everyone at the church judged people on what
they wore and watched on tv/movies and thats
part of why we left. You should not judge Lisa
and Steve on how they raise their kid and how
they take care of themselves. They have people
watching them 24/7 so they have to be "Perfect".I think that the spanking was right. He hit his sister so Lisa Hit him so to
say.

Thats my 2 cents worth.

Talking

I think that everyone who agrees with the first post sound just like Baptists!(I am a baptist myself, but don't think that they're right)I mean the stereotype of Baptists and most of the peeps at my church!I mean my dad is the pastor and I think he's just a little too close to his congregation to see that they're hypocrites. All of you people who say Lisa Whelchel is "TOO RELIGIOUS" are nuts. There is no such thing as being "too religious" in the first place, and secondly, it's not like she goes around to totally strangers going Jesus loves you!ok, another thing, my parents spanked me for stuff, and I think I got smarter for it.(ok so they didn't spank me for hitting someone, that is a little extreme to me,because it's a brother sister thing, you can't help but make fun of/hit your siblings.)And those of you who claim to be Christian but judge Lisa are hypocrites.(When I commented on the spanking for hitting I wasn't juding Lisa I was evaluating her "correction" there is a difference)In other words you don't "practice what you preach" or you don't "practice what you believe."
All you people who think it's insane for someone to think that God blessed someone with a gold shower head and whatever else, think about all the things you have, whether you wnat to believe it or not, God gave you all that.
Also, Lisa Whelchel isn't trying to "brainwash" anyone! She simply is giving people her ideas on different things, believe it or don't she isn't trying to say you have to believe everything I say.
And another thing, as BlairandJo said,:"They have people watching them 24/7 so they have to be "Perfect"." I completely agree!Probably only movie stars and famous people ever truly know what it's like to be "watched" all the time, but imagine if you had someone watching you 24/7, and they had the power to either make or break you.Trust me you'd wanna be happy all the time!
I think that's all I have to say, but if I think of anything else, I'll post again.
