just a funny thing to share with you guys...
this weekend, I was in New Jersey, and the town where we were was called Hackettstown. hehe and on the way there, since it took us 4 hours to get there, we were playing a game in the car where one person would say a famous person, or a TV or movie character's name, and whatever letter their last name started with, the next person had to name someone whose first name started with that letter. so I ended up with the letter A, so I said "Antonio Scarpacci!" and they were all like, "who??" and I was like, "he was a character on 'Wings'!" and they were all like, "OH YEAH! The cab driver! I used to love that show!" and stuff like that. haha. It was great. There are more Wings fans out there than we know of! |

It really doesn't take much....Just a character name or other reference to jog people's memories, and their fondness for "Wings" seems to come back in no time! |

I remember back when Monk first came out, I was at work and we were doing a closing shift. A couple of my co-workers were taking a look at some magazines and one of them had an ad for the show on the back. They were saying, "Hey, isn't this the guy who played Antonio on Wings? That show was so funny!" Nice to see other Wings fans out there.

Hackettstown is a bit far from where I live, but I used to go there all the time to visit my aunt and grandma. They've moved since then. It's a nice, quiet little town.
Anyone notice the coincidence? HACKETTstown? LOL. |

Hackettstown, lol Krista.
I was at a party last fall. There were some people there that I didn't know. Someone who I did know was talking about a co-worker who was dimwitted, so I said, "Sounds like the mechanic on the show Wings." I didn't want to sound like I was too into it. The next thing I knew, people were saying, 'Lowell!', and complete strangers started talking about the show and how funny Lowell was. Then, I was mad at myself for not referring to Lowell by name in the first place, lol. |

Besides, that doesn't fool anybody...eventually your love and enthusiasm for "Wings" IS going to come out, and then your cover's REALLY blown!
