Question Days: Marlena's TENTH and LAST Victom, Who Will It Be?

Corday and JER have been saying for some time now that the last victom will be a shocker. In this weeks SOW Corday said that the last victom was more shocking than all other 9 put together. He also said the reason it is such a shocker is because it's unbelievable that they would kill some off who is so important. Not only that but he and JER have both said that we will hate them for it, Corday said that the fans outcry will be HUGE. The cast knows who it is, as does the actor/actress. The tenth victom will die in April as quoted by Corday. Farah was quoted saying "you won't believe who it is", and that she herself was shocked. So here are the only people it could possibly be and the possible reasons why or why not it could be them:

John - Drake's contract expires in Jan. of 2005; Also it's been said a thousand times that this is a love story (by JER, Corday, Drake, and Deidre) therefore I don't think it's him. Not only that but Marlena could never kill him. And also back when the Labor Day rumor went crazy Corday said that they weren't gettin' rid of Drake.

Marlena - Deidre's contract expires in Aug. of 2004, but Corday has said that he wants her to come back and if she leaves it will be by her choice, Deidre says she ain't leavin'. lol But still the whole John will kill Marlena prophecy is still out there. And he'll kill someone but it can't be her, because Corday said that one of the chapters in this story was Marlena going to trial. So she's got to be here to do that.

Bo - Peter's contract expires in Aug. of 2004 as well. Corday said that Bo AND Hope would be on a lot in May and in the Summer months therefore I'm not sure it's them.

Hope - Kristian's contract expires in April of 2004 and still hasn't been picked up, so that has me wondering, but as I said above, Corday said that Hope would be on a lot in May and in the summer.

Alice - She has a life time contract, but she may be wanting to retire with a bang. When asked if she would go Corday said things about her being in her old age and that she might want to retire. Sounded to me like Alice is it. I believe that Alice will be the final victom and I think she will die protecting someone maybe Bo or Hope.

So what do yall think about the tenth victom?

well, if they are bringing i the hayes' just so doug can be killed, i will say possibly julie. but she is not all that big these days.
celeste did tell hope, lexie, and jennifer about them all having new rings. and bo was not in the picture. possibly bo?
if i had to put money on it, i will say either will or abbey. that would be big. to kill a child.

I oh so seriously doubt Will or Abby would be killed. That's just ludicrous.

I'm thinking it might be Alice too, I Dream of Jeannie. That really would piss a lot of fans off. Personally, I'd rather see poor Alice die from natural causes. (I hope that didn't sound insensitive and I hope you all know what I mean)

I also have a very very very strong feeling that the final victim might be Belle. I mean, a mother actually killing her daughter would be HUGE. And Belle is an important character among the teen circuit. Another thing that gets me wondering is that Kirsten Storms either filmed or is in the middle of filming a sitcom pilot for CBS, and who knows what might happen with that. Plus, it's funny how Farah Fath's, of all people, reaction was quoted. Her character and Kirsten's character are best friends

I think Hope is another possibility which worries me. That would also be big since 1/2 of another popular couple would be killed off.

All in all, I think it's a very tough call. My gut says that the final victim will be Belle, but with my luck it will probably be Alice, lol. I mean, that would be totally wicked for a parent to kill their own child.

ludicrous?
like any of the deaths made sense???
you made some great points but your whole reasoning for it to be belle is the same reasoning i suggested will or abbey. killing will would be a way to get sammi and lucas together. being that the only person they both loved and were accepted by, is their son. they could find each other during the grief.

i agree with you totally about alice. killing her would be stupid. they way they handled tom's death after macdonald carey died was a tribute to him. they should do the same when she decides to leave.

Knowing JERk and Corday it will probably be Alice. In soapland there is no such thing as a lifetime contract, which Anna Lee(ex Lila General Hospital) found out when she was recently fired.

At first I thought it would be Will but then I started thinking and I don't think that will happen, and one reason I feel that way is because they've all said it is someone incredibly important. I really feel that Francis Reid wants to retire and this is her out to go out with a bang. But I could be wrong. I thought about Belle but I dont' think it'll be her, I dont' think Marlena can kill her, just like she can't kill John. I also think if it was Bo, Hope, or anyone else but Alice we would have already heard about it. Francis doesn't work everyday so it wouldnt' be unusual for her to leave for a long period of time and then come back or something, also I dont' think she would leak the news whereas if it was someone else they'd probably tell their fanclub hince a huge leak.

Well, on Dustin's page ( http://www.soapoperafan.com/days ) he thinks the final victim will be Bo. His main reason for believing this was because of Celeste's preminition of a new wedding ring on Hope's finger and Bo is nowhere in the picture as well as Caroline's warning to him tol prepare for the future and hold his family close to him.

He also mentioned some theories floating around about why Marlena is on this killing spree. One theory is that Marlena has been evil all along, which is believed that no other soap has ever taken a beloved heroine and reveal that she has been evil all along. A couple other theories are that Marlena has always been secretly working for Stefano, along with the possibility that Marlena is even married to Stefano.

I hadn't heard the theory that Marlena has been evil all along, I don't think any of the Stefano ones are possible not really, but I do belive that the evil thing could be. I dunno, I'm all whacked now after reading that. Thanks for posting.

I think the final victim will be Marlena. She will kill herself after feeling guilty from all that she's done. That's something that's never been done before - a leading lady committing suicide. I think Corday saying Marlena will go to trial & all is just to throw the viewers off. Deidre Hall's contract is up in August and no talks have been scheduled yet for her to renew. Marlena killing herself will be something the fans will never see coming. If its not Marlena, then it will be Bo or Alice. But think about this theory, its definitely possible.

Yeah it freaked me out too. I think it would really suck if Marlena ends up being evil all along. She's been on the show for so long and is/was such a nice character. I'd hate to see her a permanent evil character. To me, it just wouldn't seem like DAYS anymore. I can see a lot of fans hating JER for that. I also don't think the ones involving Stefano are possible either.

Also, on the cover of Soap Opera Weekly, Bo, John, and Alice are on the cover. So it looks like one of those three could be the last victim. So because of that, I'm holding back on my Belle theory for a while.

Well, judging by previews and spoilers, it does look like the final victim will be Alice. I can say that with 95% confidence now. This is very sad.

"soap opera weekly" (i think it was) came through the mail today. it had alice, bo, and john on the cover speculating who it will be. i can't recall if i ever saw frances reid on the cover of a magazine. so i guess that is a subliminal message.

it really sucks that they show such a distreatment to such a devoted worker. they gave macdonald carey dignity when he left. the same should go for frances. didn't even make a mention of john clarke leaving, just poof, a new face in the role.
no respect.

I really believe that Francis Reid wanted to retire, I may be the only one but I think she did. I mean she's not as healthy as she used to be and I'm sure she wants to go out with a bang. Francis always wanted Alice to do something important, maybe she's thinking Alice will finally be able to be a part of something. To her Alice never had a storyline, she was just always part of Tom's and then part of everyone elses. Truth be told though, Alice IS the storyline, she's been a part of EVERY storyline in some way. And she will be GREATLY missed.
