Default Touched VS Highway

I love both touched by an angel and highway to heaven, but jonathen of highway didnt hardly tell anyone he was an angel, tess andrew and monica allways told people at the end they were angels, jonathen mentioned god as the boss sounds too gangster to me, on touched they always called god, god. thats the way it should be, on highway they drove around in a car, but at first jonathen would hitchhike, on touched they just use the power of god to travel, but best of all on touched they had that glow that they would show to people, on highway jonathen didnt have it, i told in another thread my favorite touched episode, my favorite highway to heaven episode was we,ll have forever, where jonathens earth wife died and he rebelled cause he thought god wouldnt let him see her, so he falls for this very pretty young woman whom he saves from drowning, and it turns out to be his wife but he didnt know it till the end, wow that was classic micheal landon.

Thumbs up

' Highway To Heaven' has a lot of similiarities to 'T.B.A.A.'. Nothing like 'Joan Of Arcadia'. CBS just gave the people a 'shut up' show due to the fact that they moved 'T.B.A.A.' over to Saturday nights just so it would get cancelled. If that's not jealously, than I don't know what is. 'Joan of Arcadia' is really not a show that touches the heart.( sorry Jason, I have nothing against him) It is just centered around a college girl(and her family) who walks around evey week talking to a different God every week. To me, that's not exactly what I would call, a feel good show. 'Highway To Heaven' and 'Touched By An Angel' are feel good shows that helped every day people on the show. With 'T.B.A.A.', they're dealt with different topics every week(as they still do on Hallmark channel) 'Highway To Heaven' on TVland). There will never be another 'Touched By An Angel' no matter who hard CBS tries. T'B.A.A. ran for nine seasons as almost did 'Highway To Heaven' . Enough said.

To his credit, Michael Landon -- through LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE and
HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN -- paved the way for shows like DR. QUINN, MEDICINE
WOMAN and TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL. No violence, no car chases, no suggestive inuendo. Just "feel good" drama that (occasionally) lifts one's spirits. It's just a pity there is no one left today to pick up the torch (although Jennifer Love Hewitt's GHOST WHISPERER comes close).

My favorite HIGHWAY episode: "The Man in the Third Row," in which guest
star Lorne Greene claims to see God. In that one, Jonathan Smith (Landon)
is a priest; and it seemed so odd to hear Lorne call him "Father."

Highway to Heaven was ever bit the exact same greatness and quality as Touched by an Angel. I am glad they had different concepts in them because it would be awlful borning watching the same show duplicated right? It is a shame that Touched by an Angel is no longer on. It is that type of show we need to have for young kids to watch. They took it off because it made too much attention to God, but yet it is ok to have on sex, voilence, and some of the most sickest shows you can see. But because the word GOD is used, we can't have it??? This world is going to hell in a handbasket and I hope I am in heaven when it does!!!!

What? They canceled it on purpose?
I like TBAA better than Highway to Heaven because it deals with more difficult issues and helping people deal with their emotions. Highway didn't really deal with emotions that much and it didn't make you feel good or closer to God by telling you that He loves you every week like TBAA.

I've never seen Highway To Heaven, so I'm going to have to go with Touched By An Angel.
