my aim wont work - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

it says theres an error catagory 4 and error code 1. does anybody know what this means and how to fix it?

Try calling AOL; you will hear a lot of prompts and then get to talk to someone whose first language is NOT english and half the fun is trying to figure out what are they trying to tell you since they have to repeat themselves a lot. A good time to call is in the wee hours of the morning; where their phone circuits are jammed packed (I wonder why) and see if you have the patience to put up with it all. Then you get an email survey asking for your opinion about contacting a tech support; just pour your heart out in it and put them where their service belongs.

I am thinking about switching to AOL because the server I am on won't take free servers on message boards!! I am on hotmail and msn BTW!!

I've been with AOL since last year and their service isn't the greatest... I was just stating my personal experience. Everyone is free to chose

okay yeah....my AIM isn't working either...it disconnected me about an hour ago and i havent been able to sign back on since then. Anyone else having this problem?

It's not working for me either. Apparently they 'upgraded' it. TO what?? From bad to worse?

YES!!!! I thought my computer was just being a bitch. Except I chose to sign myself off cos it wouldn't let me do stuff.

niiice..im back on lol i was getting aim deprived so i downloaded the latest version to see if that would make difference and it did!!! lol

there are a couple of different viruses spreading on the aim network right now that are helping to clog up the service...
