Default Reused castle set

Boris Balinkoff's castle set was later used as the set for Gilligan's vampire dream. Also, Balinkoff's dungeon set was later used in Mrs. Howell's Cinderella dream.

Not only that but the CASTLE SHOT was from a Vincent Price film, THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM.

Since Gilligan and Mrs. Howell both saw Balinkoff's castle and thus dungeon it makes sense they could later dream about it.

It dawned o me that the first Boris Balinkoff ep could be a dream as note Gilligan falls asleep on the beach and later wakes up with Balinkoff staring right at him saying (or something very much like)"I've come to rescue you". But the later Balinkoff ep makes it seem unlikely the first Balinkoff ep was just a dream.

What I always wondered was since the Doctor and Igor were turned into the dog and cat in the "Friendly Physician" epsiode. Who turned the Dr back into a human being for the pe with the rings?

I think it is a dream-it seems like something Gilligan would dream up. I sometimes also have dreams with the same characters, and where I see myself not knowing what's going on, so I believe that the second was also a dream.

I always wondered why the castaways didn`t stay in the castle and live there. It would beat living in huts and maybe they could of had a better chance of being rescued there. There was also a lot of electrics, maybe they could of built of found a transmitter.

It may not have been cost effective to redo the titles as "Gilligan's Castle"

It wouldn't be any fun either to be stranded in a castle either
