I thought little Joey Scott did a great job in last night's episode, as "Benjie Bellamy", the boy who believed Beav turned into a rock. I can't find Joey's age yet, but he did have to be very young, and really expressed himself very well, for someone that young.
Also, did anyone notice the logs Ward was bringing into the house....they looked like they were made of plastic, and they had no tree rings on the ends. Props department could have done better than that! |

I like that Benji Bellamy, too, MikeZ. Just the way he talked and the expressions he made. I figure that he must be about my age, given the fact that I am much closer to 50 than 49 now, and that Benji appeared to be about four or five years younger than Beaver in that episode.
No, I didn't notice the logs. Too bad Duraflame logs weren't invented yet, huh? LOL! |

Benji did look quite young, but was very expressive, and did his lines well. He actually made you feel that he really did believe that Beav was that rock.
And that log thing, it was so clear they were fake. They could have at least painted some ring marks on the ends...but you could also tell there was no weight there.....they were almost floating away. |

Benjie was a cutie! I love the way he said "kindergarten": "kidneygodden"
