I think Head of the Class could have gone on for more than 5 seasons -right into "The College Years"! Or Dennis and Arvid should have gotten their own spin-off. That would have been hilarious!!
And that's my random thought for the day! |

Do you think that when the IHP class has kids, they would be little geniuses or would they be sad and depressed because they could never live up to their parent's high standards?

I'm surprised that Robin Givens stuck with HOTC until the end, even with all the controversy surrounding her.
By the way, I'm just giving myself room to throw out thoughts on Head of the Class whenever I get them. If somebody wants to reply, fine. And if you don't, that's fine, too! |

They really need to put some episodes on DVD.
My tapes are nearly worn out from watching them EVERY SINGLE DAY (and they're barely a year old!), and I find nuances in every single episode. In "Past Imperfect," when the class is gathering around Charlie to help him cram for his exam, Robin pushes Leslie out of the way and tells her to "let her [Khrystyne] speak"...ouch! Did not know Janice was at the prom in "Play it Again, Woody." You can see her clapping hysterically for Arvid. And it is so obvious that Joher has a crush on Leslie. (He can sit and lie to me all he wants about that...I wouldn't bring it up if he hadn't said it). He tries to find ways in the blocking (stage set up) to get as close to her as possible! In "Ode to Simone," she brushed past him and he didn't flinch! I like Kimberly Russell...she seems pretty and nice, but sometimes I felt that she mistook "perky" for fidgety! She never looked like she could sit still and stay focused in the class! (Forgive me for saying that!) Once again, the show needs to be back in syndication AND put on DVD! |
