Default Interesting NICK Programming Move

Although "All In The Family" is being run on TV Land (and will continue to be run there), NICK AT NITE is also adding an hour's worth of the series to NICK....and is cutting the programming time of "Three's Company" in half to make room for it.

It's interesting to note that NICK didn't touch "Wings"....You would think that "Wings" would have been the FIRST thing to be chopped in half (or removed completely) to make room for "All In The Family", but NICK is still giving us an hour's worth of back-to-back episodes.

While I sympathize with the "Three's Company" fans, it's nice to see another positive sign for NICK's treatment of "Wings"....but of course, they really should schedule it at an earlier hour!

I think it's time for Wings to move to TV Land.
It could be on at a better hour.

BTW, Remember at one time (around 1999) when TV Land showed alot of short-lived television shows? THAT was cool.

Update. N@N has dropped All in the Family and Three's Company, and has added Cheers in the 1:00-2:00am and 4:00-5:00am time slots. Again, Wings wasn't harmed at all.

I like Cheers, but do we really need it on four times a night? Especially since they already have four episodes of The Cosby Show, Roseanne, and Full House. N@N really needs to get some more shows and do away with the double takes. One or two episodes a night per show is plenty. And of course, Wings needs a better timeslot and another marathon!

I think that there should be another March 'Wings' marathon. March is a good time for 'Wings'

You're absolutely right, Ange....In fact, I propose that we proclaim the month of March to be "National WINGS Month"!

During March, slyly slip "Wings" references into your everyday conversation.....Have "Wings" video parties (either by yourself or with a group), and don't forget....Pizza goes GREAT with watching "Wings" videos!

Yes, let's all do our best to make March a month where everyone is "Wings"-conscious!

(Yeah, I know...."Pilotguy, get a life!")

Really? I've been watching Three's Company at 1 and 1:30 am, and last night, I was surprised to see that Three's Company was only on once, and then All In The Family was on at 1:30...
Cheers wasn't on......

I can't believe that Nick dropped Three's Company. Aside from the almighty Cosby and Cheers, TC seemed like a little jewel in Nick's crown.

I've noticed that N@N is very random with Three's Company. I used to watch it a lot on N@N a few years ago, and then it disapeared, and then it was on at like, 3 AM, and then it completely disappeared again for a while, and then it was on at 1 AM for a while, and now it's gone again...
And I think it's weird how they got rid of Cheers completely for a few months, and now its back again at its old 1 AM slot.

I'm VERY happy that Wings isn't going anywere!!!

I really do like Wings, I've taped all that I could.

Sorry to be a downer, but I think they kept Wings so they could drop it later

IMO, the time to watch is June when Who's the Boss comes. Maybe we'll get lucky and Cheers will be dropped, but then Cheers might be dropped from TVL in April when Green Acres comes. Anything is possible I guess.

N@N should just stop showing sitcoms at night, LOL. I mean really. I'd rather see N@N spin off and start a 24 hour 80s channel (with some 90s too). Doubtful it'll ever happen, but N@N needs to re-structure their schedule. They've needed to for a LONG time now.

But IMO, by September, we'll have Who's The Boss (which I'm looking forward too, like Wings, so it will no doubt do bad and end up at 3am too) and Fresh Prince. Roseanne is doing good it seems, Cosby is still doing well. Full House is doing well. To solve the problem, they need to drop double takes, especially in the crucial 9pm-2am slots.

I think it's time for an 80s TV Land network. Let's flood Viacom with E-Mails!
One thing I'd like is to see that The Bronx Zoo show again (last seen on BRAVO), it has Mrs. Dolby in it (Kathleen Beller, Thomas Dolby's wife ).
